Globalization has become a hot topic in the 21st century and one of the irresistible trends in the process of development of the whole society. Facing how to advance the international core-competitiveness of China's journalism programs at universities, the author feels that internationalization is the way to educate talented journalism people in the Globalization Era and to defend China's discourse power in the world.This article reflects on status quo of China's higher education and journalism programs at universities against the backdrop of globalization, developments and challenges of China's journalism education in context of globalization. On the basis of the current circumstances of journalism talents and higher journalism education which is not international enough, this article analyses several important factors of internationalization of China's journalism programs at universities.Drawing on excellent experience of internationalization in journalism colleges both home and abroad, we can find some methods to advance and expand internationalization of journalism programs at China's universities on aspects of international relations, curriculum setting, teaching resource and strong international study atmosphere for students and etc.. Drawing on author's 4 year working for educational institution abroad, especially experience of participate and conduct some of the international projects in journalism education, the author collected some cases in this area and did a detailed analysis for domestic journalism colleges's reference for the purpose of advancing its soft power.
