Information globalization begins from the middle of 1990s, symbolized by the quick generalization of global broadcasting and television net, telecommunication net and Internet, and the advance and practice of Information Superhighway plan. Information globalization is the result of further development of information want of the audience and the requirement of economy globalization; Information globalization is the premise of international cooperation; the another element of information globalization is international political competition; the material foundation of it is the advance of IT.Talents of Chinese media must have new and higher qualities in the times of information globalization. In this paper, the author analyzes the quality structure and the true situation of Chinese media talents in the background of information globalization, based on which the author put forward the talent strategy of Chinese media.The basic framework of media talent quality is composed of three aspects: moral characters, knowledge and abilities, and adjustment of emotion and mood. There is a big gap between the true situation of Chinese media talents and the requirement information globalization, the cause of which is backward reformation of Chinese journalism and communication education and personnel system. In the end, the media competition is talent competition. It is very important to draw up a strategy about talent geared to the needs of information globalization. Firstly, the most important task of journalism and communication education is to set up the system of talent training suited to the requirement of journalism development. Secondly, the successful experience should be drawn from enterprise when modern media invite applications. There are many ways and methods to attract candidates. A scientific inviting program should be laid down beforehand so that the inviting process is efficient and orderly. Thirdly, the management of modern media should know how to choose the right person for the right job and manage them scientifically in order to give full play to their potential abilities. Eventually, the management of modern media should set up correct talent outlook and dispose of the question of talent exchange properly. The effective reserving system should be build up in order to keep excellent person as far as possible.
