DSS(Decision Support System) based on data warehouse technology is widely used in many areas, such as telecommunications, banking, finance, medicine and commercial retail, and provides strong information security for business enterprises. Library is a public servicing organization and how to provide better service for readers with the help of new technology is a problem for the library manager. Procurement of books is the starting point and foundation work for library's work, the quality of purchasing has a great effect on the quality of books in library and largely determines the overall level of library service. Library managers hope to find out the information supporting library's development directly from the daily business data.In order to meet more needs of readers of library resources and better serve the readers, in this thesis, integrated library management system Unicorn bibliographic information in the collection, circulation, loan information, booksellers and readers bibliographic data information as data source, use Microsoft SQL Server 2005 for data warehouse platform, construction Book Purchase analysis of data marts, analysis of the collection structure, excavation needs of readers, the establishment of procurement funds allocation model, the formation of a library system procurement decisions.This thesis includes six chapters, it discusses the research background, research significance and content, introduces the data warehouse technology, OLAP technology and data mining knowledge, from the book procurement system needs analysis, multidimensional data warehouse, OLAP analysis, data mining models create, display and analysis of the results of detailed parts with decision support features built library book purchasing systems.
