The Application Of Data Warehouse,OLAP And Data Mining In Management And Decision Of Reserve Officers

Data warehous(eDW),Online analytical process(OLAP) and Data mining(DM) are very actively research fileds in recent years.With the improvement of these technology,there are many successful examples of management and decision appeared in some enterprises and companies, they gained obviously effect in improving management efficiency and their economical benefit.But the use of military management especially reserver officers'education and management is very little.For the reserve officers'selection and training office commissioned by military in college,It is very important to improve reserve officers'training quality,and insure the military has the credible and high quality person sources.This paper proposes a mode,which integrates the Data warehouse,Online analytical process and Data mining technology applied for the reserve officers'education and management field,and offer decision support for the working of reserve officers'selection and training.A new way is used for the working of reserve officers'education and management.Firstly,This paper introduces the process of designing and implementing the reserver officers'Management Information System.It's fuction and module,network structure and data base design are described in detail.And it proposes the decision support system mode of reserver officers'management which integrate the Data warehouse,Online analytical process and Data mining technology based on this OLTP system.Secondly,Integrating with the example of management decision in reserver officers,It builds the reserver officers'manage information data warehouse based on the data collected by the reserve officers'selection and training office in recent years,and puts emphasis on the research of building Data Warehouse and data extracted and pretreated which come from different OLTP system.Thirdly, The application of online analytical process in reserver officers'management and decision is proposed in this paper.It builds the OLAP cube module integrating with the example of reserver officers'qualities test.It uses ROLAP (OLAP based on Relational Database Management System) achieve the multi-dimensional data expressed and stored.By this way,it's not only improved system respond speed but also retrenched storeage space.And it introduce how to do an OLAP operation by using MDX integrating with code.At the same time,this approach is flexible because the data in multi-dimensional structure can be retrieved using common developing tools and the other software like EXCEL.Finally,The application of Data mining in reserver officers'management and decision is researched in this paper.It discussed in detail the application of AOI(Attribute-Oriented Induction) and C4.5 Algorithm in the analysis of reserver officers'quality and churn.By mining it's valueable rule,opening out the main factor affected reserver officers'qualities and churn simply and effectively.The results of experiment are consistent with the fact, especially for some unpredicted results.
