Because traditional magnetic measures are susceptible to magnetic field,water quality,temperature and other factors,this paper design a non-magnetic flow meter SoC chip for various types of rotation movement detection.The chip integrates non-magnetic sensor excitation circuit,analog signal processing circuit,full custom circuit of the non-magnetic algorithm logic, 8-bit low power embedded microcontroller,random access memory, electronically erasable programmable read only memory,10-bit low-power ADC and general purpose IO interface module. The chip can connect 2 to 4 non-magnetic sensors,detect the 90-degree rotation,and turn rotation information into digital signals.It has the advantages of advanced measurement method, high accuracy,low power,working mode flexibility,monolithic and so on.This paper puts the emphasis on digital unit design of the non-magnetic flow meter SoC chip.By applying the register unified addressing technology,micro- controller core can directly control other peripherals,so it can improve system performance.This design uses soft IP of a 8-bit low power microcontroller, focusing on the microcontroller and the external communication interface, non-magnetic simulation algorithm module and control module, also this paper discusses the method of generating SRAM macro cell by Memory Builder. Finally the SoC chip is fabricated using Chartered 0.35μm EEPROM CMOS Logic process.Test results show that the digital module of the SoC chip is working correctly.
