The Research In Evaluation System Of Core Competence Of University Library

At present, The Core Competence of University Library Research Theory and Practice has been inevitable result which Library functions to expand and adapt to environmental change. The face of the diversity of competitive environment, Information Technology, the continuous development of new technologies. Libraries must establish their competitive advantage, build The Core Competence. Library's core competence transplants from competitiveness of enterprises. It means that Library's unique competitive advantage in the community; maintain its existence, and the unique ability to protect the Library Development.This thesis develop core competitiveness of the university library research field which based on researching Core Competence of University Libraries, it is not only a theoretical research, but also a practical research. This thesis researches on Core Competence of University Libraries in details through five parts. At first, this thesis describes the core competitiveness of university libraries the background and significance of the research. Secondly, it constructs theoretical system of the University Library System of Core Competence; it notes that this theoretical system should include competition theory, and cultural management theory, etc. Thirdly, based on introduction to core competitiveness of the university library, locate it, this thesis builds the components of core competitiveness of the university library through location. Fourthly, this thesis analysis'how to manage core competitiveness of the university library, and discusses protection mechanism of it. Based on this management model, it given the core competitiveness of university library new content management. At last, an empirical Study on the competitiveness of the university library through the construction of Evaluation System of University Library This thesis has strong theoretical and practical, the University Library as the research object, theory of core competence as the main line, this thesis integrates use of theory of competitive advantage, comparative advantage theory and cultural management theory and other academic thinking. It laid a theoretical foundation for core competitiveness of the university library, expands the depth and breadth of related research.
