Media culture is a hot topic in the culture research in recent years. As the new medium emerge and develop, the power of discourse of media culture is gradually switching from the public sectors to private sectors, from elite class to normal public and from seriously moralize education to lively entertaining experiences. Micro blogging, which is a brand-new presentation, does not only initiate a new model for interpersonal communication, but also release the power of discourse to the utmost, which attracts not only the celebrities but also the grass roots to surf into the heat wave of micro blogging. By analyzing the culture of micro blogging, it is found that the characteristics of decentralization, diversification, fragmentation and complanation are very similar to the ones of post modern culture, which makes it very necessary to run a research on micro blogging from a perspective of post modern. Then where do the characteristics of micro blogging culture to present? What are the problems for micro blogging in the process of spreading? What is the tendency of micro blogging will evolve? All these questions are worth of further researching. Basing of the experience of Sina micro blogging and real life, this dissertation is going to employ case studies to research the forms and characteristics of micro blogging culture by using the classical theories of post-modernism and integrating the materials analysis and related theories, through which the conclusion and prediction of the development of micro blogging are made: The development potential of micro blogging should not be underestimated and it will reach more social fields with immense vitality by taking advantage of the technology development and its superiority.
