| At present,the embedded operating system software is widely used in a variety of mobile phones, tablet PC, handheld devices, information appliances, and electronic products. Embedded operating system is the basis and the core for all kinds of handheld devices. The handheld devices, based on embedded operating system platform, will be the main force in all kinds of information devices in the future. Though embedded electronic products used in Xinjiang region must support the minority languages, such as Uighur.Based on the study of the embedded operating system architecture and implementation mechanism, we choose the open source operating system, Linux2.6.28, as the core. After cutting and custom to it, formed an embedded system based operating system platform. On this basis, through addition the Qt graphical user interface, using its internationalization and localization methods, we built the locale of Qt localization and the Uighur localization of resources, and prepared the dimension text input method, designed the Boot Loader of the system, and finally realized customization, programming and porting the Linux kernel and the Qtopia graphical user interface on ARM-based chip Mini6410 development and implement board. Formed embedded operating system platform which support multi-language editing for the left-dimensional text editing and compatible with Chinese and English to the right. Also we tested application developing method on Uygur embedded operating system platform. The results show that the system realize the input, output and compatible implements of Uighur, English and Chinese on embedded devices correctly and fully, which will reach the requirements of design. Development of this system will provide the technical support for development of embedded devices in Xinjiang region.The system has the innovation on creating compatible processing mechanism about Chinese and English based on Qt system, and building input method framework support for Uighur text. |
