| It still needs survivability, self-organized characteristic and mobility in military wireless communication system,except the general characteristics of a civil communication. In war, a wireless communication system is vulnerable to enemy attack. If a centralized communications system is used, it will lead to the paralysis of the entire system, once the communication center was destroyed. It can make the communications system more mobile and adaptive that the Ad Hoc network technology is applied to the martial wireless communication, which has become one of the most important in martial communication field.The design of ZigBee network is adopted in the concept of wireless ad hoc networks, wireless mesh network arise from a wireless technology for exchanging functions which provides a self-healing and self- organization capabilities, so, it is suitable for the harsh battlefield communication environment. ZigBee low power wireless networks,as the fittest plane for WSN in existing,are paid attention to by increasing people。In this paper, we shall first briefly introduce the technical characteristics,protocol model and application of the ZigBee technology,and focus on the characteristics of ZigBee mesh network. We also discuss the applications in military on the basis of the mesh network. ZigBee protocol stack frame is deeply studied and analyzed, the ZigBee PHY, MAC and NWK layer are described and implemented in detail.Secondly, in the paper configuration mode of ZigBee network is expounded, the process of establishing ZigBee wireless network is introduced. The process of establishing a new network and two kinds of ways of incorporating into the network are given.Then, a wireless sensor network with the mesh topology is set up.In the next section, this paper introduces the ZigBee hardware and software development platform , the emphasized features of CC2430 chip, as well as the Z-Stack protocol stack of TI Corporation. The hardware design of ZigBee wireless network code is based on CC2430 chip as the core components and the code of the software design is realized. The design of the node has a simple structure, low power and low cost.Finally, the paper builds a simple ZigBee mesh network on HFZ-CC2430ZDK development board, does the relevant testes on this mesh network, proves effectively the self-organized and self-repaired characteristic of this mesh network. |
