| Wireless Sensor Network is a hot area of research, it has a wide range of application in environmental monitoring, home automation,industrial control devices,toys and game machines and so on. Wireless Sensor Network havs nodes of high density and wide distribution,network topology changing frequentely,and the nodes have the features of low power consumption,small size,light weight, limited data processing and storage capacity and so on.ZigBee is a synonym for IEEE802.15.4 agreement.According to the agreement of the technology,ZigBee is a short-range,low-power wireless communication technology.The name comes from the character dances of bees,because bees use the dance of flying and shaking wings with zig to transfer the information of the location,distance and direction and son on of the newly discovered food source to peers,and bees rely on such way to constitute a communication network..Its characteristics are short distance,low-complexity,self-organizing,low-power,low data rate,low cost.ZigBee protocol uses the physical layer and link layer of IEEE 802.15.4 standard,and then adds network layer,applicatiion support sub-layer module,device object and other modules in it to achieve a large area network coverage.Because of its low-power,low-complexity,self-organization, and other areas's superiority,ZigBee has become the preferred wireless sensor network communication protocol.This dissertation studies the related thchnologies of Mesh network based on ZigBee.First analysis some characters of wireless sensor network and some features of ZigBee to study the architecture of wireless sensor network and related applicatios,and introduces ZigBee network protocol layers,and then based on the feature of ZigBee,improve the ZigBee routing protocol and design the hardware platform which meet the networking require to achieve the Mesh network,then at last build a Mesh network system based on ZigBee,then test and verify the feasibility of the system's hardware and software through the experiments. |
