With the rapid development of Internet technology and the increasing of broadband network users, network manager and service providers urgently need a more comprehensive and complete authentication and accouting management system to solve the increasingly serious management problems. AAA is a network security management mechanism that provides three security functions-authentication, authorization and accounting. AAA system which takes the more popular RADIUS protocol for authentication and accounting has been widely used for enterprise network management.Advanced Telecommunications Computing Architecture (ATCA or AdvancedTCA) is a series of industry standard specifications for the next generation of carrier grade communications equipment. The new technology increases performance & reliability by optimizing the form factor specifically for communications-related devices. Product based on ATCA technology has very obvious advantages, such as to enhance the device performance, eliminate the proprietary platforms that existed, reduce development time, reduce development risk and costs and increase the compatibility of the industry respect etc.In this paper, we studied the basic principles of AAA technology and the ATCA technology, and then made an analysis to the principles and attributes of RADIUS protocol and the advantages of ATCA products. Based on above knowleges we set up an AAA server and then designed and implemented an enterprise network AAA management system. The system included two subsystems. One is the Web Portal subsystem which applied the Hibernate framework technology to the persistence layer, the Spring technology to the business layer and the Flex technology to the presentation layer. And the other is the accouting subsystem running in the background, which was developed in the PL/SQL Developer environment with Oracle Procedure. This paper also made a function test and performance testing to the AAA system running on ATCA platform in the lab environment. The final chapter briefly summarize the obtained results and pointed out that the function not yet been achieved, and make a future based on the research results of this subject.
