The Design And Implementation Of College Campus Network Authentication Billing System

With the advances in computer network technology and college enrollment and endless expansion, how to solve the internet for college teachers and students is a big problem.The fact is that the campus network management is very confusion. especially in network security and anagement accounting policy. So, in order to solve the situation, this paper proposed and designed campus network authentication and accounting system for the harmony of the campus network to make a contribution.The system used J2 EE as a software development platform,and used Oracle as the database system,used PPPoE authentication and RADIUS protocol combination, provide users with a variety of accounting policies and methods. The authentication and accounting system designed not only can solve the campus network security issues, but also to achieve a reasonable allocation of network resources.The users can also choose their own billing methods according to their needs, it is reasonable to control network costs and resources. This thesis showed us many achievements include:1. The analysis explained why we are going to design the campus network authentication and accounting system, and introduced the domestic and international development status and trends in the relevant fields, and showed us which can solve the problems of campus network.2. The paper introduced the basis of the theory of technology J2 EE development platform, Oracle database technology, PPPoE and RADIUS authentication protocols, as well as a variety of billing and accounting policies.3. By the demand of campus network authentication, accounting to the system analysis and system performance as well as from the feasibility analysis of authentication and accounting system.We can divide the whole sysytem into system management, account management, authentication management, billing management, financial management and reporting manage six modules.4. We set up authentication and accounting system development environment for each of the above function module design and implementation, including the schema module and database module, the realization of the system interface display.5. We take a full range of testing, include testing and validation of each module, the test results show from the functional and interface of authentication and accounting system.This paper design and implement of the campus network authentication billing system solved the shortcomings existing in the campus network charging management, has realized the quick effective management of the campus network user authentication and charging, greatly improve campus network management mechanism.
