It is very important for ISP getting on broadband services and increasing the amount of radio and television user.Broadband user authentication and accounting system provides the kinds of broadband business for users, such as account opening, change, query, complaint handling. Through the Interface with the BOSS system, it enables broadband access service convenient for user management, product management, integrating accounting and other back-end management of the broadband access business support and acceptance; through the interface with the online business, it provides accesses to broadband users billing, account balance, details of a single online, online duration, and the user’s current products order status and other information, customer self-service password change function; with BRAS interface, complete the certification of broadband access services, collection, service control and other functions; at the same time, open system interface, with the ICP/ISP (Internet Content Provider/Internet Service Provider) to expand, providing a wealth of broadband value-added services.The design of broadband authentication and accounting system is mainly based on Radius protocol. Certification management interface uses JSP technology. Oracle database layer makes use of balancing mechanism to back up each other, the business logic is written in C/C++language as package of services. The paper consists of five parts:requirements analysis, technology options and analysis, system design, system interface and sub-module design, system design and other data layers.In the requirements analysis stage, analyze the project’s technical requirements documents. Then, according to its technical requirements, analyze and sort out the system requirements analysis matrix; based on the needs of analysis matrix, consider the appropriate technology solution to meet the system requirements; In overall design phase, based on the technical program, it will get the design of overall system architecture and modules’level; As to the system interfaces and sub-module component, it is to consider the interface between BOSS (Business& Operation Support System) and system, the interface between HuaWei BRAS (Broadband Remote Access Server) and system, Portal Management Center’interface with the various sub-modules, subsystem design. By using Web service technology, it achieves communication each other among interfaces. The system operating environment of software and hardware is designed to meet the system’s authentication requests in the condition of high load pressure, to support business operations during peak hours; finally results of the research projects are verified and summarized.
