The Design And Implementation Of Roaming Radius Server

AAA(Authentication,Authorization,Accounting) is one of the basal functions of communication network, so the AAA server plays a very important role in the services of telecommunication industry. Although Diameter has already been widely used in the implementation of AAA, Radius is still a basic implementation of AAA. As we lack relevant open source code of Radius, the research, development and secondary development have great value of business applications. In the development process of Radius server, the implementation of roaming function is a very important link. In some actual projects, we should take some effective solutions to improve the performance of Radius system.This paper mainly studies the design and implementation of roaming Radius server. This paper firstly introduces the background of AAA and Radius. On this basis, the second chapter gives a detailed briefing on the Radius server, including the system architecture and related primary technology, and then makes a comparison with Diameter. The third and fourth chapter is the emphasis of this paper and mainly focuses on the design and implementation of the Radius server. The following fifth chapter briefly introduces the related testing work on the Radius server. Finally, it gives a brief summary on the paper as well as the research.
