Research Of Construction Project Preliminary Estimation Of Design Based On ANN

Design stage is the critical phase for a successful project investment control during the whole process of construction project investment control. However, our domestic architecture engineering industry generally focus on the construction stage-to audit the budget and settlement based on construction shop drawings for a long time, and ignore the cost control in design stage, of course the method is effective to attain certain effects but its role is limited, compared with the returns on project investment, cost can be saved in construction stage is just like a drop in a bucket. Therefore, we have to shift our focus on the primary stage of a construction project in order to control the project cost effectively, especially make well preparation for the maximum quota of preliminary estimation of design, only the one who always make adequate preparation can yield twice the result with half the effort. At present, our domestic architecture industry in under a rapid developing period, but study on improving the quality of preliminary estimation of design is still a weak link, project investments frequently get out of control due to the deviation between preliminary estimation of design and budget price. This is just the practical significance for why we study on improving the quality and perfect the auditing of preliminary estimation of design.This paper analyzes the deficiency of preliminary estimation of design in domestic project costing industry by studying its development status in abroad, and referring to the research achievement of UK, USA, Japan. Through the analysis on the theory of preliminary estimation of design, to further research its compilation contents, principle, procedure and method.Combined with domestic development status of construction engineering at current, this paper presents following viewpoints:pay attention to outside survey so as to ensure the quality of the document; improve the accuracy of the construction method statement; make efforts to develop the methods can improve the accuracy of project preliminary estimation of design such as application of project costing consultation in the whole progress and etc, in the meanwhile, emphasis the significance of auditing the preliminary estimation of design and the important notice in its implement process.Key point of this paper is to combine the preliminary estimation of design with neural network, to make a quantitative analysis for it with mass of project data collected in practical projects, finally to establish a verification model for preliminary estimation of design which is based on RBF neural network, purpose of this model is to provide a novel, efficient verification method for preliminary estimation of design in actual projects. By the result of MATLAB toolbox system, it's finally proved that this method can be deemed as the reference to improve the quality of preliminary estimation of design as well as the efficiency of preliminary estimation auditing in practical works.
