Currently, there are 12 ports in the Mainland of China among the ranks of the world billion T throughput ports. Port handling machinery and equipment is the lifeblood of the production, responsible for more than 90% of the Country import and export trade, and gradually showing large-scale equipment,production efficiency,technical complexity and operational continuity and other characteristics, in this regard to meet the increasing handling efficiency and reduce production costs and other objective requirements, on the other hand, caused by the failure of mechanical equipment production downtime and the economic loss is growing. Therefore, the work of a modern port on the reliability of machinery and equipment are made stringent requirements.This topic comes from the cooperation projects of Wuhan University of technology and Qinhuangdao Port Group and Rizhao port group, the main content of the topic is research on wireless intelligence strain monitoring sensor based on GPRS technology and remote data received server software based on WEB pages. Wireless Intelligent strain monitoring sensor using the new measurement principle of the TDC strain test, with high precision and high refresh rate measurement, high reliability, flexibility and other characteristics, can meet the port crane metal structure stress test requirements. The realization of developed devices using the port crane metal structure online stress long-time monitoring, the protection of the port machines real-time safe operation, saving test time, analysis of structure deterioration trends, guidance equipment, maintenance and management have the great value.This paper mainly to solve three issues:first, design the hardware circuit of the wireless intelligent strain monitoring sensor; second, prepar the program of SCM and the remote server; third, design the performance test of the wireless intelligent strain monitoring sensor.The text is divided into six chapters, the main contents of each chapter:the first Chapter briefly describe the sources and significance of the subject, concise intorduce the development status of the wireless strain monitoring system, the wireless sensor networks Development and the status and trends of the wireless communication technology, at the same time, analysis and compared, taking into account the GPRS wireless technology has network coverage broad, high-speed transmission, operation simple and convenient features, so it is more suitable for the wireless communication way of the wireless intelligent strain monitoring sensor.The second chapter analyzes the work of the new TDC measurement principle and study the ways of zero compensation and gain compensation. Design the hardware circuit of the TDC chip peripheral interface circuit, GPRS DTU interface circuit, SIM card peripheral circuit, power supply module circuit.The third chapter describes the overall workflow of SCM software, and detailed analysis several major functions in the microcontroller program. Analysis of the characteristics of wireless transmission protocol UDP, provides transport protocol of the GPRS DTU,introduce the working principle of GPRS DTU module,design a remote server application software.The fourth Chapter designed the tests of the wireless transmission performance, dynamic and static performance, the instrument temperature effects for the wireless intelligence strain monitoring sensor, prove that the instrument has a good wireless performance, measuring static and dynamic performance and fully meet the test requirements of the port crane strain.The fifth Chapter test the wireless intelligence strain monitoring sensor equipment with a particular cable test similar experimental conditions in a Qinhuangdao Port Crane. The results compared with the cable test results prove that the wireless intelligence strain monitoring sensor test results fully meet the port crane strain monitoring performance.The sixth Chapter has a comprehensive summary of the main achievements of this issue and proposed the expansion of the instrument function of the direction and future development trends.
