| Today, the technology of communication has rapid developed. Newsweek is just a marginal class among news medium. Comparing to TV, newspaper, network and other medium, this class contains rarely individual and less readers, but the influence of them cannot be despised. This is the origin of this study.Introduction and first chapter is an overview, some introduction about the current academic placement of Newsweek and the second foothold of news, analysis shows that most of the research thesis in a single chapter, and lack of system study. For more information about the second foothold of the news is the accumulation of industry practice, while the media characteristics of Newsweek is reflected by the text characteristics directly. Therefore, to media analysis as a starting point, the system research of the second foothold of news that is the value of this article.
