Design And Implementation Of Equipment Management System

With the rapid expansion of university scale, the more setting of management sections and departments, and the quick increasing of equipments number and sorts, studying, developing and using the college equipment management system is necessary and urgent. Many equipment management systems have been existed, but these systems are hard to satisfy with our demand. In order to manage all equipments effectively and reasonably, monitor the state of all equipment quickly and accurately, reduce the workload of workers, increase information sharing, and improve the work efficiency, the Yan'an University Equipment Management System is designed and implemented.According the actual situation, using the advantage of campus network, the system whole C/S architecture is designed and the system function models are divided based on enough investigation of our equipments management method and more analysis of their advantage and disadvantage of the current systems, and the main functions including the user management, the right-limits distribution, the integrated query, the data reports, the equipment depreciation, the system setting are implemented. In the development process of the system, the author of this paper finishes the following works:the requirement analysis report, the whole design, the detail design, the part of model codes, system testing and so on.The system has used in several departments, and the application results show the system has friendly interfaces, easy operation and good whole performance. At same time, the utilization of the system improves the management efficiency greatly.
