In recent years，our country has been dealing with the Lack of skilled talents forthe development of knowledge economy. Such as: strengthening the construction of thevocational colleges constantly, configuring a large number of precision equipmentinstruments and building the information facilities steadily. However, there are manyproblems to be facing by vocational and technical colleges, which is weak oninformation construction foundation. Such as: the low efficiency of equipmentinstrument using, the insufficient efficiency of management maintenance mechanism,the defects of manual equipment management mode, and so on. In view of these, thereis very important social significance and practical value to use the advanced computingtechnology and mature network technology and realize the information management ofpractice equipment instruments for equipment instrument management, in order to dealwith efficiency of business, improve equipment utilization rate of equipment.After the business process investigation and function demand investigation of theChongqing three-gorges water conservation and electric power school, This thesisdesigns and realizes the laboratory equipment management system, combined withsoftware engineering theory and management theory, in order to solve the problem oflab equipment management efficiency, which integrated equipment managementfunction, management function of equipment use, equipment maintenance managementfunction, daily office function. This thesis mainly research work content is as follows:1. This thesis analyzes this topic research background and significance, reports theinformation process of education industry at home and abroad, and the currentdevelopment of equipment management system;2. This thesis analyzes the software development theories and technologies, suchas: MVC design pattern, Struts2framework, B/S structure, Hibernate technology andso on;3. This thesis describes the function point information of system, the core businessprocess, and the role division of system users, with the description of UML graphic;4. This thesis designs network topology for system, complete the whole system structure design, describes the design content of each module in detail, and designs thedatabase content.5. This thesis uses technologies and system design contents, which is gain before, torealize the code of the system, and deploy the system with the picture display. Thisthesis gives the test conclusion report content at last.This thesis designs and realizes the laboratory equipment information managementsystem, and meets business requirements of the Chongqing three-gorges waterconservation and electric power school，and realizes the equipment management by theconvenient way with information system.
