Modern high-speed data acquisition system is based on signal and information processing, which are widely used in communications, aerospace, radar and other fields. With the continuous development of digital signal processing technology, the structure of the data acquisition system and requirements are constantly improved. It requires not only high sampling precision and sampling rate, but also requires high-speed data acquisition storage and display. The system uses FPGA and PCI9054 chip combination of the high-speed acquisition system with further development.This paper describes a design approach of a high-speed data acquisition, processing and transmission system. The system is designed to receive analog IF signal. The received signal is sampled with 500MS/s high-speed by ADC chip. In the FPGA, digital intermediate frequency and FFT use software radio technology to achieve. Data stored in the DDR2-SDRAM, and between DDR2-SDRAM and PCI9054 inserted asynchronous FIFO to achieve the data synchronization. PCI9054 chip receives the data which is in DDR2-SDRAM, and transmit to the computer under the PCI protocol, complete data transmission. The difficulty lies in the design of DDR2-SDRAM read and write timing and the PCI9054 local bus timing control. The design uses Verilog HDL language to achieve the high-speed acquisition system and provides with the Xilinx logic analyzer Chipscope Pro-line verification and analysis, the results show that the design meets the expected performance.
