Synthetic Impulse and Aperture Radar (SIAR) is a new type of radar using metric wavelength and sparse array, which has some good performances on anti-stealth and resisting anti-radiation missile. The outstanding feature of SIAR is isotropic radiation by adopting orthogonal frequency-coding (synthetic pulse) and multiple antennas (synthetic aperture). Its receiving beam is formed by digital beam forming (DBF) and its transmitting beam is formed by the pulse synthesis. And it can simultaneously achieve the target detection, tracking and differentiating.Combining with a research project, this paper describes the track of the synthetic impulse and aperture radar (SIAR). First, the paper introduces the main features, the basic principles and the space-time three-dimensional matched filtering of the synthetic impulse and aperture radar (SIAR). Then, the paper introduces the basic principles of the signal processing methods used in the track processing, including digital beam forming (DBF), pulse synthesis, movement of the envelope compensation, MTD and two-dimensional CFAR detection. At the same time, the paper introduces the coupling of the orientation and the elevation and how to overcome it, the sidelobe suppression effect of DBF, the coupling of distance and direction and how to overcome it, linear FM signal used in the SIAR, how to achieve coherent accumulation and measure the target's velocity by MTD. Finally, the paper introduces the project implementation of the track, including the hardware implementation and the software implementation.
