Equipment management system is an integreted management information system, which is based on special equipment management of our provincal public security organs, is created by applying advanced design conception and development technology, involves the whole aspects of equipment management, and orients departments of province, city and country levels, department leaders and civil policemen. This system effectively solved data redundancy, resource wastes, imperfect supervision, lagged statistics and other series of problems. It aims at realizing the whole process management of special equipment, and improving equipment management level.This system adopts object-oriented development method, uses unified modeling language as analysis and design tool and makes requirements analysis and system design for some businesses of special equipment management. According to system characteristics and user demands, this system uses B/S architecture in form, multi-level architecture based on J2EE in function, and Structs+Spring framework and user interface management system based on MVC in technology. It uses Java as programming language and XML, DAO, Hibernate and so on to implement five functions, that is, personal business, equipment management, fielding management, report center and system management. In the area of security, permission management based on resource enhances the security of system operation. Through inquire interfaces this system provides inquire service for outer system users; inner system offers complete business processing interface to operate on and inquire data, realizing data sharing for outer system.In the requirements analysis, detailed descriptions of overall business, business process, functions of five modules, and relationships beween modules are made. Take equipment management for example, equipment states and state transition process are analyzed. For system design, codes transformation design, class structure design and database design are detailed desicribed, and the database design of basic information of equipment is focused on. Rule engine solves the descriptions of complex businesses and separates business rules from actual codes. Image cutting and smoothing algorithms standardize the storage of equipment images and enhance the input and output efficiency of file streams. Check for the format and content of export data improves fault tolerance and feedback abilities of the system.System analysis and design has been finished. After the system is put into operation, the efficiency and accuracy of equipment management will be greatly increased, and informationization of equipment management will be maximally realized.
