Media literacy education is to guide people to correctly understand and constructively to enjoy the educational resources of mass communication. Through this education, culture media criticism that people have a healthy ability to make full use of media resources to enable them to improve themselves and participate in social development. With the mass media's negative impact on social development increasing, study of media literacy education in China has been seriously. However, research in specific content, the scientific community is still in the introduction, reference and learning stage, but also failed to construct suitable for China's media literacy education subject matter.This article first media exposure of our citizens are analyzed, tried on the basis of this analysis, discusses the importance of media literacy education and basic contents of media literacy education. Next, the article on the current media literacy education in Mainland China the problems are analyzed and summarized, and finally, the media literacy education for the existence of various problems, proposed the development of media education in mainland China's path.
