Technology of 3D Seene Virtual Roaming in was one of the important contents of Virtual Reality Technology,it enables users to observe and experience the Virtual scene freely with Human-Computer Interaction equipment,and it had a broad prospect for application in the fields of military, medicine,game,architecture,and tourism. The development of the simulation technology, Virtual Reality and online game has brought forth a Virtual Roaming System which is designed in common use, reusable and extensible. To meet the requirement mentioned above,practice has shown that the most effective method is to adopt the Object-oriented UML modeling technoque.UML is an object-oriented, intuitive and widely used general-purpose visual language. It visualizes,describes in details,constitutes and documents the products of intensive system. Carries on the software development based on UML to be able to describe, explanation, visualization each stage of structural system development, and it has provided richly, rigorous,and strong extendibility expression for system's development, reduced software's development cycle, raises system's development efficiency. Besides,Object-oriented modeling technique can effectively control complexity and adapt varieties.It possesses highly flexibility and reusability with low risk,which increases the efficiency of development system. So the Object-oriented development method of UML is inevitable.Firstly,explain the meaning of virtual reality, research status in domestic and overseas are also discussed. Presented the existing problems of VR in Real-time roaming system,and give the methods to solve those problems. The next set out the basic object-oriented concepts,UML characterized by the use of language. And then based on the confined development goal,using object-oriented technology , the requirements analysis and the system design were described. The static structural model and the dynamic action model of the entities were visually modeled. Finally, the virtual roaming system were developed.Paper through object-oriented technology in the virtual roaming system development application, based on object-oriented simulation in virtual reality applications were useful for further exploration, with some reference value; In addition, UML-based approach enhances the building model intuitive and easy to understand nature, making the virtual roaming environment with high reliability system development, model reuse, and easy expansion and development cycle and short.
