With the Industrial technology developments and the production scale of factory continuous enlargement, the phenomenon of environment pollution is becoming more and more serious.The water environment pollution phenomenon is being the main contradictions of the environment pollution, which made water environmental pollution, becoming one of serious social problems. The sustainable development of water environment is the basis to realize the sustainable development of the country. Now, our country pays more attention to environment protection. The on-line monitoring technology becomes mature gradually today. In order to achieve the goal of control of rivers and lakes pollution emission to improve the environment quality, take effective measures to protect water requirements becomes more and more urgent. However, the distribution area of the water is wide, which means many places is not facilitate for artificially measurement. Futhermore, the traditional meathods for water quality monitoring is to use field sampling, laboratory analysis method. This method has much shortage such as collect information quantity, processing slow, transfers late, could not timely, accurately obtain water quality with dynamic data. It is difficult to achieve our country for water environment monitoring development requirement.This subject is to design a multi-parameter online monitoring system which is consist of automatic analysis instrument, the modern technology of sensors, the automatic control technology, computer application technology and relevant software.The monitoring system consists of the base station, data communication system and the monitoring center. The main task of base station is collacting data from monitoring instruments and keeps the system online. Industrial PC and the monitoring device made the monitoring LAN by using MODBUS agreement to realize the data transmission between the base station and the center. Data communication system sends the data of the water from the base station to the center by the help of GSM. Meanwhile, it will send the order which be sent from center to base station. The monitoring center control system is for software design and development, including control the module of control system function and database design which developed by SQL server for the data management system.The system has the function of monitoring specified paramenter, the status of base station and automatic alarm function. With the function of power protection and automatic monitoring, it can realize the monitoring of the water and the controlling of the device in remote station. Through the testing in field, the system has been proved that it can achieve the goal of monitoring the water quality of the remote area. The system can provide status of the water to the relevant department. That's means a lot for slove the water pollution accident.The subject designed the monitoring system to realize the monitoring of the remote water. It has the character of real-time, stable and be broadened. The centers can analysis the data timely through the parameter got by the remote station. It can provide accurate scientific evidence to the relater department.
