| Waveguide slot antenna with slots cut in the wall of waveguide radiating to the space through these slots. For the characteristic of low side lobe and high gain, wave-guide slot antenna is widely regarded and used in application of modern antenna technology.In this paper, according to the specification of the narrow wall wave-guide slot antenna (including main lobe width, side lobe level, bandwidth, etc), the antenna's distribution can be decided. C-band waveguide is promoted to meet the target. Amplitude and phase of each slot of the antenna has been designed . The main problem for this paper is how to achieve the distribution by choosing the parameters of the slots. This is also the point of designing waveguide slot antenna.The main task in the paper is given as followed:(1) Calculate the loss of wave-guide;(2) Analysis the single slot wave-guide antenna and discuss its characteristic;(3) The model of scanning optimization is given. Then optimize these parameters.(4) The whole structure of the antenna is simulated, and the results are discussed.For achieving the require of design, the antenna is optimized. (5) The antenna is manufactured and tested. The result proves the antenna fulfillsthe desire and also proves correction of the design method. |
