Research On News Production Management Of Newspaper Industry Under New Media Landscape

This thesis explores the impact and influence from the new media to the traditional media itself, traditional media mode of operation and the process of news production from the perspective of management in the background of new media development. Facing the challenge of new media, traditional media's news production has changed, and this change also has showed on its management in internal and external. In the end of the article, we will forecast the future of press'news production management system.New media emerged in the late 20th century. It marks the rise of a new era. To traditional media, new media has brought many challenges and impact, such as: taking away the audience, seizing the market, splitting the profits, dividing influence, or even to replace it. Facing to challenge and impact, traditional media choose different ways. Under the new media landscape, "Xin'an Evening Post" continues to explore news production management system, fuse in "All Media", Promote the development of new media. And now, it is on the road of transformation.This thesis will choice "Xin'an Evening Post", one of ten Chinese evening newspaper, and Xin'an Media Co., Ltd which is based on Xin'an Evening Post and is the first Sino-foreign joint media project in china as examples. In the first part of this thesis, we will talk about the concept of "new media",the new media's development status and its'impact to the traditional media.I will introduce the press'news production management system currently in china and some universal problems. In the second part, we will analyze "Xin'an Evening Post " and Xin'an Media Co., Ltd., exposit news production management system of traditional media's status quo and new problems in the face of the new media landscape, and find out the reason which caused such situations. In the last part of this thesis, based on previous analysis and combined with my participating experience in "Xin'an Evening Post" that explored news production management system, the author will forecast the print media's "All media" transformation of the Road and propose feasible suggestion. The author hopes such suggestions could give reference value and guide to Chinese newspapering's development in new media landscape and Transition.
