With the popularity of vocational computer courses, many problems come up in vocational computer teaching. Because of different learning levels and the phenomenon of learning repetition, some students develop a weary mood for learning, lose interest in learning and lack initiative to learn. Therefore, the urgent issues in current vocational computer teaching are how to conduct basic application teaching in vocational computer education, how to improve the teaching of basic computer application, and how to increase students'learning interests and efficiency.Combining the actual situation of vocational students with the characteristics of vocational schools, the research reforms traditional teaching models of general textbooks of basic computer application, introduces Project Approach in classroom teaching, and results in finding a suitable way of learning.Nowadays employment after graduation has become a big problem for students, especially for vocational school students with low academic qualifications. Therefore, vocational education should be job-oriented, based on professional job requirements, and in accordance with the needs of professional positions. Project Approach can be based on job requirements, enable students to integrate into society in the course of projects, stimulate students'interests, get the students to learn to innovate and solve practical problems, and improve their hands-on and practical ability.Based on the theory of constructivism, the thesis adopts educational experiment method, action research method and questionnaire method, explores the project approach of computer teaching in vocational schools, and introduces the learning theory of Project Approach in the course. It discusses the application of Project Approach in the course instruction of"Basic Computer Application", illustrates the design of all sections and the implementation process, conducts comparative education through experimental classes and control classes, and discovers the advantages of the project approach which will continue to develop in computer teaching.The research and implementation of Project Approach proves that the method, which has positive impacts on vocational computer teaching, is suitable for vocational students and enhances students'interest of learning. The approach can improve students'hands-on ability in the course of projects, strengthen students'theoretical knowledge of the course, train students'sense of community and team spirit, and get students to integrate into society more quickly with higher professional qualities.
