With the rapid development of information technology in universities, many universities have established a considerable number of applications. However, tools and development platforms that have heterogeneity and tight coupling lead to information resource between applications cannot be shared, interconnected and reused, thus forming"information islands one by one". Data with different data sources and heterogeneous platform interfaces can be described in a unified and transparent data mode through the coupling way. System resources can be connected, integrated and collaborated though Web service in the process of data integration, as is a serious problem to be solved in the research of campus information integration platform. SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture) that has coarse-grained, loosely coupled, composite structure based on Web Services in particular provides a new solution for applications and data integration. The main work of this paper is shown as follows:1,Through the analysis of existing campus information integration that faced difficulties, the paper proposed SOA-based campus information integration project, based on which all kinds of the existing campus information systems can be integrated deeply. In order to enable all system resources can be connected, integrated and collaborated through Web, the paper uses the industry's sophisticated Web Service technology.2,The paper proposed a new SOA integration architecture based on a public data central and the function of each component was described in detail. The central data platform was constructed to realize data synchronization between central database and heterogeneous databases. Through public data exchanging, all applications on the basis of sharing public data can realize information integration. The paper established a series of specific"Campus Digital Common Information Standards", based on which data exchanging can be completed among campus heterogeneous databases through XML technology.
