Research On Public Library Digital Information Service Standards

As the traditional library information service model no longer adapt to the developmentof network information, technology and digital resources growing surge, the reader userrequirements for library service model has changed, which led to the diversification ofLibrary Service produced. Digital information service has become an integral part of libraryservices, and it as invisible service plays an important role in the support and protection of thesocial function of public libraries. However, up to now, our country has not issued a standardon regulating digital library information services. The library community has embarked on thedevelopment of standards necessary specifications of digital information about a service.This paper mainly from the domestic and international standards of library services, thecharacteristics of digital information services, digital library services standard userinformation and other aspects, in the digital library on the basis of information services, toexplore the development of digital library research questions regarding information servicestandards. The paper is divided five parts.The chapter one is an introduction. Firstly, the background of this thesis, significanceand research purposes are described, secondly, information about the status of researchservices at home and abroad currently doing reviewed, finally a brief description of the maincontents of the article.The chapter two is the public library service standards at home and abroad and LibraryServices Act, the evolution will be described and discussed.The chapter three is a feature of the public libraries of digital information services,digital information service users’ overview.The chapter four is a new platform for generating new environment, combining digitalinformation services, emphasizing the principles of necessity and digital information servicesdeveloped.The chapter five is to establish standards to build digital information services framework.
