The Study And Development Of Campus Card System And Digital Campus Information Integration

With the progress of information-based education, there are more and more application systems in campus. Through long time information-based construction, there have been a lot of business subsystems, including: Personal Management System, Teaching Management System. Student Management System. Science Research System, etc. Every business subsystem has been formed in different period and used different development technologies. How to take advantage of those information resources, realize information sharing, and make information-based education improve teaching management level and efficiency have become an important problem that campus information-based construction faces.This thesis analyzed the information of every subsystem in digital campus construction, and the requirement of information integration and sharing between every system. For various requirements, it brought the method of information integration by combining local center data with Web site. Through using the efficiency of center database and the high portability feature of Web site, and the method of "High Cohesion, Low coupling", we planned the project of information integration between every application subsystems in campus.This thesis made a detailed analysis about the requirement of sharing information between Campus Card System and Library Management System. In addition, it analyzed the different integration methods. At last, through using synchronous technology, such as trigger and program control, it designed the synchronous interface to library, realized this design and developed the interface components. The practical applications have shown that maintaining the exiting application systems in campus by using Campus Card System to integrate all application systems is acceptable by every application department and is an easily realized method.
