Design And Implementation Of Digital Campus Public Data Management Platform

As information technology continues to develop and progress, universities have made great changes in educational environment, educational modes, management modes and so on. At present, many colleges and universities have gradually introduced information management system to improve the efficiency of working and teaching. But these application systems are developed by the business sector-led, there is no uniform plan, system’s business processes, data formats, application interfaces are different and the lack of correlation between each other leads the difficulties to share data. Data resources can not used to the integrated application, which gradually formed an "information isolated island" phenomenon and seriously hindered the informatization construction in colleges and universities.It is introduced in this paper about the research background and current situation of digital campus, combined with the digital campus construction requirements in Xi’an University of Science And Technology, it brought the service oriented architecture(SOA) technology into the construction of digital campus. It is based on the research of SOA architecture and related technology, the architecture of public data platform was designed, which mainly includes information on the standard management system,data integration platform, data integrated monitoring system and shared data center four parts. With the background of architecture design platform, a school uniform of the information standard and code was elaborated,which using ODI middleware technology on the key issues of data extraction, data cleaning, involved in data integration platform to realize and adopting J2 EE technology to achieve the information on the standard management system and data integrated monitoring system.Through the establishment of public data management platform, the "information isolated island" phenomenon is solved,to achieve the interoperability of various heterogeneous application systems and data sharing.What’s more, it has provided strong support for the construction of the digital campus information service and new business system.The public data management platform designed in this paper has been put into practice and run in the construction of digital campus in Xi’an University of Science And Technology. With the good generality and expansibility, it has a good reference value on enterprise data integration for colleges in the future.
