The Analysis Of Construction Of Platform Of Anhul University Digital Library Alliance Based On Cloud Computing

Since the national literature information guarantee system of higher education (CALLS)-which is our country’s largest library union is started in1998, many provinces throughout our country, including Beijing, Shanghai, Tianjin, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Hainan, Zhejiang, Sichuan, Shanxi, Henan have initiated the construction of university library alliance project, aiming to provide a full range, high level high levels of the literature guarantee services for provincial high level education and scientific research, and the provincial university library has been into a new development period. What’s more, making difference from the public library service, the university libraries is playing an important role in the universities because of their service object, and their readers are mainly concentrated on experts, scholars as well as the students. While, these three groups are different for their different traits in the aspects of their research, teaching and learning. What’s more, the service, which university libraries provide cannot be limited to the traditional literature service because their majors have different characteristics, and they should provide, personalized, professional distinct literature and information service-knowledge service-according to the different needs of the service respectively.With OCLC announced "cloud-based services", the library of the IT application has entered the era of "cloud". However, the construction of academic digital library has also suffered from serious challenges. And under the environment of Cloud computing, any application form can exist in the form of service, thus, the service for the library provides a new research perspective. Based on discussing basic knowledge of cloud computing, this dissertation made cloud computing as the research object to describe the basic framework of cloud service platform, cloud services architecture, cloud services and the problems, which may exist in the construction. Analyzing domestic libraries of cloud computing research, combined with OCLC, CALIS-the main research results on the CALIS cloud service in the library and the real innovation requires from the construction of academic digital library, the writer analyzes necessity of using cloud computing to construct digital high school library, taking construction of digital library in Anhui province for example. Furthermore, using some main ways such as cloud computing, IaaS, PaaS, SaaS to construct the digital library cloud service platform for Anhui province as well as to strategies for construction of high school digital library in Anhui province. This thesis is divided into six parts.The first part of this paper mainly introduces the paper’s research background and significance, research status at home and abroad, the content and research methods, thesis research ideas and research innovations.The second part is the theory summary of construction of digital library cloud service platform. This part introduces the conception, principal, structure, application status of cloud computing. Also, this part provides the connotation of digital library as well as the content, information demand of readers under the circumstance of cloud computing. At last, this part also took the construction of digital library cloud service platform for example.The third part introduces the project of Anhui university digital library alliance, including introduction of project, construction of platform, construction of information.The fourth part provides the existing problems in the construction of Anhui university digital library alliance.The fifth part is the construction strategies of Anhui university digital library platform under the circumstance of cloud computing. Then, the construction of platform includes the stereotype, fundamental structure of Anhui university digital library cloud service. What’s more, this part also provides strategies in the construction of Anhui university digital library alliance cloud service platform.At the end of this dissertation, the writer gives some advice on the construction of Anhui university digital library alliance platform, including the summary and the prospect.
