The Research And Design Of Customer Management System Of Small And Medium Enterprises Based On Intergated Communication

Customer management system is an important part of intelligent management. Commercial enterprise customer management system has many problems for Small Medium Enterprises (SME), such as high costs and bad flexibility. So it is suitable for the SME to have a customer management system based on the company's actual service conditions. This paper designs a powerful customer management system for Taiyuan Fullcolor Technology Co., LTD, based en VB & SQL Server 2005 software platform, and makes some further investigation and research. Specific content is as follows:(1) Design of the relational database. This paper constructs a conceptual model of customer management system based on entity relationship diagram (E-R diagram), according to customer needs. Entities include customer entity, customer type entity and reminding information, remarking information, cooperating information, communication information between the company and the client. As entities are constantly changing with time, it sets the appropriate field as primary, foreign key words based on standardized database theory. And it is divided into a number of relations according to ER model, without losing the original message. It effectively improves the efficiency of data storage and ensures the integrity and expansibility of data.(2) The design of communications integration. It needs the support of the communication module for timely and effective communication with customer. This paper integrates sending E-mail and message into this system. The function of sending message is realized by Jmail, in which the program was packaged to smtp.dll, directly called by VB. Communication using SMS messaging cat control v8.0, using AT commands to control the message cat to send and receive short messages in the computer by the serial port. And it can apply for SMS Gateway from moving or Unicom SP operator, access the operator's GSM network to send or receive short message.(3) The design of the database application system. Three layers of C/S architecture were designed in the system. They are business logic layer, the user interface layer and database design. The client connects with the intermediate through the COM/DCOM communication and exchanges database through the intermediate. The business rules, data access, verifying the legitimacy are done in the intermediate, and the business logic is encapsulated with ActiveX DLL in VB.The system has been used by Taiyuan Fullcolor Technology Co., Ltd. The feedback shows that the program runs smoothly, powerfully and effectively. It indicates that the design methods and theories are correct and effective.
