With the non-ferrous metals processing industry continues to develop,the requirements for the product quality is getting higher and higher. In the industrial control process, The design Increases the reliability and accuracy of the control system. This topic mainly works on designing the monitoring system for the copper horizontal tractor, which can reduce the resistance to copper profiles in the Grain Refinement of the crystallization process,and thereby enhancing yield. The design is conducive to the realization of the industrial control and management integration at the scene.Within the field of industrial control,it has a broad application prospects.First of all,the total scheme of the MCGS whole supervisory is analyzed,after that author discuss the design and realizing of Soft and hardware of lower computer,the design of configuration software of Monitor interface and Data, at last,author Particularly discuss the construct way of MCGS supervisory and control Program and the design driver for the AT89C51 MCU based on MCGS.The system is designed to "micro-controller+inverter+inverter motor" for the secondary control to achieve to drive and control level continuous casting machine.In the paper,that author introduces the whole Hardware connection circuit of AT89C51 MCU and the design of all Parts of Hardware circuit. The software program of the AT89C51 MCU and the communication protocol of the AT89C51 MCU and supervisory computer have been given.the remote serial communication of the AT89C51 MCU and supervisory computer has been Realized.The developing of Device Driver program is a very important part in developing Configuration Software, for the variety of the type and function of device in the industrial control,the difference of communication mean and protocol.In the paper,that author has accomplished the Driver program of the AT89C51 MCU in Configuration Software and realized the data transmission and communication of the AT89C51 MCU and supervisory. At the same time,using configuration software MCGS constitute monitoring platform and achieve lower computer parameters real-time monitoring, production status monitoring and management.the Control Design of supervisory computer was completed.Application shows that the system can meet the needs of the level of continuous casting production and has advanced technology and low-cost advantages.
