This paper studies the waterdeprivation, its varying pattern and connections with the environmental aspects of the transpiration of the different psammophytes in a natural environment of drought and desert. Logical, practical, effective and dependable techniques and facilities have been taken in to use to acquire the very first-hand and authentic experiment data. With the technology that studies the evapotranspiration of the psammophytes plants developing, the non-weighing type experimental field of the evapotranspiration of the psammophytes in Minqin, Gansu province has achieved the automation of the observation and control. The automatic non-weighing type experimental field of the evapotranspiration of the psammophytes V has now put into service.The paper gives a overlook on the cooperation with the Gansu Sand Study Institute, and the observation of the lysis of the psammophytes based on a non-weighing type and the research, design and development of the experimental computer monitoring system in Minqin. The manufacturing of the facility of our own research has completed, and all other equipment has been fixed, debugged and put in to actual application. The main targets of the technical requirements have been properly met. The system runs under such conditions below:the voltage fluctuates and out of power frequently for the rural area power supply, the system is semi-underground, and it has to keep on running on a non-stop and unattended basis with very high humidity.The system integrates the following functions, automatically monitoring the soil water content of the evapotranspiration pool, controlling and balancing the constant underground water level compensation system, real-time moisture collecting, processing, communicating, data entering, historical data saving, data inquiring, system parameter setting, report printing, failure warning, the facility running status real-time displaying. The user may remote-monitor the facility and take care of the abnormal situations through internet, thus it becomes "unattended operation". The computer supervisory control system is made up of the master IPC, the domestically developed constant underground water level compensation system, the wireless radio launcher, the wireless environment temperature controller, the overflow liquid level monitor controller, the wireless water storage container valve controller, the soil moisture collecting module, the rainfall monitor module, the GSM warning module, the UPS powering, the system over-voltage protector, the EC-5soil moisture sensor, the humidity sensor, the pressure sensor and the solenoid valve.
