Study On Acupuncture And Moxibustion Treatment Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Cognition And Discrimination Of Acupoints With Abnormal Muscle Dysfunction

With the development of scientific research, we have a clearer understanding of disorder of muscle tension. According to modern medicine, there are clearer understanding of the mechanism and the anatomical site of this disease. This paper tells the cognize of disorder of muscle tension in Chinese medical theory, and the treating method of distinguishing site-regulating emotion with acupuncture and moxibition.The disorder of muscle tension can be classified as spasm, trembling or atrophy of limbs in traditional Chinese medicine. According to traditional Chinese medicine theory, the doctors use acupuncture and moxibition to treat the disease. That kind of treatment is effective. Other doctors use the method of Integrative Medicine treatment, also get good results. The locations of disorder of muscle tension are most in central and peripheral nerves, motor control center can be divided into pyramidal system and extrapyramidal system. Some diseases, especially dystonia extrapyramidal disease can be affected by a number of factors, such as sleep, stress,anxiety and so on, we referred this kinds of factors as emotional factors. In summary,anatomical site and emotional factors both contribute to this kind of disease, but it is still lacking a method to classify and treat this kind of disease in acupuncture and moxibition treatment. In this study, according to the anatomical site and emotional factors, setting a method to treat this kind of disease, called method of distinguishing site-regulating emotion with acupuncture and moxibition. The treating method of distinguishing site-regulating emotion with acupuncture and moxibition takes anatomical site and emotional factors into considerate. The method is the combination of modern medical research and treatment of acupuncture and moxibition, which is easy to operate in the clinical treatment, and easy to practice, it gets good results.This method can be divided into three types. They are the use of local acupoints with distal acupoints, regulating the emotion with the use of local acupoints, the use of scalp acupuncture or electric acupuncture in spinal canal with local acupoints. the use of local acupoints with distal acupoints can treat peripheral nerve disorders, such as ‘perversion’ in peripheral facial paralysis sequela, some kinds of hemifacial spasm, myasthenia gravis. regulating the emotion with the use of local acupoints can treat the disorder of muscle tension getting worse, due tolacking sleeping, fatigue, nervousness or anxiety, extrapyramidal disorders such as spasmodic torticollis, Meige syndrome, and the hemifacial spasm aggravated by emotional factors. the use of scalp acupuncture or electric acupuncture in spinal canal with local acupoints can treat the disorder of muscle tension due to pyramidal system damage, such as partial body spastic paralysis in the sequelae of cerebrovascular disease, and convalescence in acute myelitis etc.Three cases belong to three different treatment methods.
