Objective:This study was to observe the therapeutic effect of Softing liver and relieving muscle acupuncture on the patients suffering from Stroke in early of spasmodic paralysisI for Increased muscle tension and to provid an effective way for the clinic.Methods:70patients with spasmodic paralysisI for Increased muscle tension of Stroke in early were randomly divided into the treatment group (Softing liver and relieving muscle acupuncture group n=35) and the control group(Traditional acupuncture group n=35). Both groups were treated for3course of treatment. The changes of score with Ashworth is under observation.Results:The statistic analysis revealed that the total effective rate of the treatment group was93.33%, while the control group was76.67%. There was significant difference between them (P<0.05). After the treatment,the score Of Ashworth in the both group were all better than before (P<0.01). The average curing days for treatment group was less than the control group(P<0.05), indicating that the treatment group had better effect and could shorten the course.Conclusion:The therapy of Softing liver and relieving muscle acupuncture can significantly reduce the tense muscle tension, relieve the patients’pain and effectively improve the quality of life, which is an effective way in treating the stroke in early of spasmodic paralysis for Increased muscle tension. This therapy is economical, simple, and easy to accept for patients, which is worthy promoting in the clinical application.
