Research Of Dujiangyan Irrigation Fields Manage Information System Based On GIS And Its Application

Water resources management is a complicated dealing, that the management content included is very extensive. With the development of information technology, the geographical information system (GIS) has offered a brand-new high-tech tool for water resource management and planning, it can support obtaining, management, operating, analysis, simulation and showing of the data of geographical space related to water resource management, in order to solve complicated water resource management and planning problem.Under this background, this paper has finished the research of the following aspects mainly:1) From two respects of the characteristic of water resource information and demand for water resource management, the paper introduces the necessity of GIS technology in water resource management, then discusses the superiority of GIS appliance from GIS's effect in water resource management, and compare these appliances both at home and abroad; 2)On the basis of the thing that introduce to GIS concept and its major technology, the paper has compared with several kinds of commonly used GIS platforms, and discussed in detail to the ArcObjects package of ESRI Company finally; 3) In using concretely, because the irrigated area GIS project of Dujiangyan is a huge project, need to finish stage by stage. So this paper plans to the first stagetask, has discussed the organization of the spatial data in detail , in case of consider economy and use concretely , adopt the method that combine local file and SDE spatial database to manage the spatial data. 4) Finally, this paper uses the space data of the proportion of 1:250000, and utilize ArcObjects package technology and VB language to develop thesubsystems of the irrigated area GIS platform of Dujiangyan ----Geographical information system of water conservancy of the whole irrigated area. The setting-up of this system will promote the information-based level of resource management of water of Dujiangyan. Provide some actual operation result pictures partly at the end in the article. The theory of the article combines reality, has carried on beneficial exploration and try in making use of geographical technology of information system to deal with the practical problem of the water resource, there is meaning of using for reference in the development to the regional water resource management GIS.
