The Study Of The Interoperability In Zone Educational Management Information System EMIF Based

With the development of national education information project, one part of which, namely management information project developed widely and thoroughly. For improving the efficiency of management, many areas made use of EMIS(Education Management Information System),especially in some schools. But the problem is that EMIS failed to share data and interoperate each other, which resulted in many "data islands" as data standards varied. Consequently, CETSC (China ELearning Technology Standardization Committee) established National EMIF(Education Management Interoperability Framework) to solve the problem, with reference to several foreign EMIS technology standards, for instance SIF(Schools Interoperability Framework Implementation Specification). EMIS which were developed by different companies are able to exchange data mutually as long as they are compliant to EMIF. At present, EMIF is established by CETSC and companies from the Northeast of china. The application and popularization of EMIF were carried into execution only in the North-East developed area, but little has been done in the Middle-west developing area.In consideration of the networks status and the situation of EMI (education management informationization) of BeiBei ChongQing, This thesis made an application study based on SIF and EMIF.
