A Study On The Relationship Between The Image Of The Government And The Mass Media From The SARS Accident

Under analyzing and study the reality and number from SARS accident, the thesis shows that the building up the image of the government is a kind of constructing of dynamic system project. Except improving the working style of the government, the public society estimates the governmental image depending on themass media. The thesis finds that the relationship between the government and the mass media is a kind of interact and good relationship. The thesis especially combs the history and theory from the angle of communication and journalism, induces and summarizes the information, describes the balance principle between the social steady and press freedom, put forward the creative concepts of the public relationship with the mass media, and the balance game between the government and the media. This thesis thinks that the government must change the old-mode policy of controlling the press seriously into management policy, use the new idealism to build the government image and give the dynamics to the media and push the media forward.
