Research On Mass Media Influence Of Demolition Psychology And The Mechanism Of Government Trust Constructing

Government trust is the core of the social trust system, which related to thelegitimacy of the government base. But in the transitional period when thecontradictions highlights, government trust is facing an unprecedented threat. In themedia society, the function of the mass media play to the extreme. It makes negative"demolition psychology" spread to all of the audience, which only be found in therelocatees groups several years ago. In the social transformation period how to avoidthe diffusion of "demolition psychological", and use the positive function of the massmedia to build trust in government is a significant research topic.This thesis based on Tang Fuzhen self-immolation incident in November2009,to study the ways of media’s government trust building. This research was based on alarge number of empirical investigation, with SPSS statistical software for dataanalysis. First of all, analysis the Tang Fuzhen events reported samples from thenumber of the reports, reported themes, reported tone, sources of the report fiveaspects, construct five kinds of media reports frame, and raised some imbalances inthe theme established, the allocation of the right to speak and the genres select. Then,according to audience surveys and data analysis, I propose the impact of mass mediaon government trust is developing through the process of cognitiveâ†'emotionsâ†'behavior. This progressive process is named as "demolition psychological". It means thatthe impact of media on the audience inside, will eventually be the outside into thebehavior——whether or not to trust the government.Based on two kinds of quantitative research and a lot of literature searching, I setup a "change mechanism of government trust under the media construction", reveals the path and process of media influence government trust, raised a series ofcountermeasures about government and the media, pointed out that the win-wincooperation of the government and the media is the correct path in the period oftransition and media society.
