The Design And Implementation Of Executive Search And Analysis System Based On BI

With the development of information and communication technology, ERP has been popular in many Chinese enterprises. There are amount of data coming into being, but they can not be analyzed because the data in ERP are operation style. Though ERP system owns amount of operation data, the enterprise can not get useful data from the great amount of data for making decisions. It is a special phenomenon. With drastic competition in the tobacco industry day by day, tobacco corporation faces on a series of questions, such as how to control the production cost, how to establish quality system and rational incentive mechanism, how to set up customer/market service system and so on. With the constant enlargement of the scope of enterprise and drastic competition in the market, for executive, how to obtain correct information and make corresponding decision, this is an urgent and complicated subject. The appearance of BI(Business Intelligence)solve the problem of enterprise decisions. It extracts, cleans and transforms original data from ERP and other system and loads it to data house ware, composing subject-oriented, integrated and time-variant data organizing style, it is easy to analyze and deal with. It transforms the existing data in enterprise to knowledge, helps executives to make smart decisions. During the expanding of enterprise, BI plays a very important role. It makes enterprise to grasp the changes of variable business environment, make prompt and exact decision. This dissertation is build on Qianjiang cigarette factory executive search system, discussing core technology of BI, such as Data Warehouse (DW) , On-line Analytical Processing(OLAP)and Data Mining (DM), and also discusses the implementation of UI based on B/S framework. The frame of this dissertation is as follows: The first chapter introduces the background of this thesis and the meaning of research. The second chapter introduces the concept of BI and related technology; the third and forth chapters is the core of this thesis, it mainly introduces the building of DW about Executive Search and Analysis System. The implementation technology about OLAP and DM is also included; at the end of this paper, we summarize the whole work and analyze the problems during actualizing BI, finally conclude with a series of vistas of BI in the future.
