No.7 Signalling Analysis

No.7 signaling protocol is a valuable information resource and it carries all the information on telecommunication network. So we can say No.7 signaling network is the nervous system of telecommunication network. With the increasing development of telecommunication network and telecommunication service request, the No.7 signaling network will play a more and more important role in the quality of the whole telecommunication network. Therefore it is necessary to supervise and pre —control the network. Because the No.7 signaling is very complicated, the maintainer must consult the ITU—T protocols for the meaning of every message and analyze every part of the message after he gathers the No.7 signaling message from the exchange machine. This method makes the work much slow and low accurate. By referring to the No.7 signaling, the ITU—T protocols and the standards of information industry ministry, I analyzed the basic principle of No.7 signaling and wrote a program to analyze and explain the No.7 signaling message. The use of this program can help the maintainer analyze the quality of the network more efficiently, and the quick explanation of No.7 signal message will come true. In my article, I explained the structure of No.7 signal message in detail and analyzed part of the message by myself. Then the frame and flow chart of the program were listed. In the examples of the article, I used this program to explain No.7 signaling message and resolved some questions of the No.7 signaling network. I hope this article and program will have reference value for the maintenance of No.7 signaling network.
