The Design And Realization Of EWSD Software On Fixed Network Intelligence

With the rapid development of mobile communication and Internet, the services of fixed network were greatly impacted. In order to maintain the current investment, and fully promote the potential of fixed network, it is an urgent need to promote the ability of fixed network. The problem of fixed network intelligence is brought up. The basic idea is separating the custumer service and the network which carries the custumer services. As the core of intelligent fixed network, SHLR (Smart Home Location Register) is introduced in the fixed network, which is used to saves user properties.The thesis focuses on the design and implementation of fixed network intelligence based on EWSD. Firstly the thesis analizes the actuality in fixed network and the difficult position before the operators. Then, SHLR is illustrated in detail on its function and protocols. According to the methods of triggerring the SHLR, there are four solutions for fixed network’s reformation. The advantages and disadvantages of the four solutions are presented in four aspects:namely the difficulty of network reformation, the influence of multi-network combination in future, the expense of network construction, the operation and maintenance expense of network.Based on the actuality and characteristics of the switch network and customer actual demands of a certain exchange of China Telecom, and considering the difficulty of network reformation, the first solution for triggering SHLR is chosen by EWSD. The program of fixed network’s reformation which is mostly suitable for the exchange is established. Extend ISUP signal is used in the realization. Subsequently, the detailed design and realization in EWSD software are given from a few aspects, such as call processing, reliability, accounting, etc.Currently, the fixed network intelligence reformation has been put into operation for the above mentioned exchange, and has obtained the economic profits.
