Abstract/Summary:
No.7 signal system is a key technology of modern telecommunication network. Now, in the most of digital program - controlled switches use No.7 signaling. So, for ISDN user part, it is very important to test the program - controlled switches.The Integrated SS7 Signaling Analyzer has the ability to process SS7 signal of multiple links, multiple timeslots, and also multiple protocols.The ISUP Large Traffic Simulator is used to simulate the flow of ISUP signal. Then the simulator gives a test report to help the tester analyzing the exchanges' general performance. This simulator can be used to test different telephone exchanges such as end office exchanges, tandem office exchanges and toll switches. Testers can define call intensity and other parameter easily, and get a detailed statistic report.In this paper we introduce No.7 signal system and ISUP first, include the summarize of No.7 signal system, ISUP functional description, formats, codes, and signaling procedures. On the second, for the most important, we describe the process of the design and implementation of the ISUP large traffic simulator, the embedded ISUP large traffic simulator and the module of statistic and analysis. Include system structure, application environment, system performance and function requirement, design of functional modules, design and implementation of Class. At last, we descript the verification of the system. Include verification environment, test conclusion and performance analysis.
