INTRODUCTION Auto industry is pillar of the state economy of our country. While auto mould is the important equipment for the production of the body of auto. The design speed and quality influence the development period and quality directly. The design mould is an empirical industry. It usually takes ten years or so to train a good mould designer and skilled worker. The design of mould cases library is in accordance with people's way of thought. When meeting some design problems, we always recall some design works that have been done before. Through analogical analysis, we find some similarities and differences to guide our new design. Mould cases library includes all the information of the successful mould design that has been done by the consumer company. It records all the information of work, material, complexity of the work's shape, accuracy of size, requirement of technology, conditions of finished form work's technology and so on. Especially in the program of case evaluation, records are needed in phenomena of cracking and cockling in the process of debugging pressing mould, and in the information of the debugging process of adjustment of partial structure, adjustment of space, shape of numerical material, and so on. This offers scientific and quantitative reference basis to the new design. Thereby establishing mould cases library may help preserve the valuable experiences of mould design, all this will be learnt and used by the latter mould designers. This will promote auto industrial development in a great extent. THE PURPOSE OF RESEARCH Realize the case library(CL) about mould designing based on grid. The main functions of the case library based on grid: 1. Design the discovery of cases Offer the information of cases resource of cases library. Users can query the needed design cases using the CLAS (Case Library Aggregation Service). The CLAS retrieves the cases buffer database of it own firstly and if having found the needed cases information, return to users. Otherwise, return the case's information of the remote case library nodes by calling the CLCS (.Case Library Case Service). 2. Edit and browse the cases CLB (Case Library Browser) is used to browse, edit and manage the cases database, and provide users transparent cases database and local edition and update the design, which is composed of a web browser with the integrated CAD software. 3. Enter and exit from the CL (Case Library) The node users that passed the identity verification can add the cases to the cases library of a certain node, and they have the autonomic authority to their own designs. 4. Offer the information of supervising and controlling the nodes of the cases library and the CLCS. CL supervises the surviving information of the nodes of cases library and CLCS of it at any time. This paper lays emphasis on the technologies of access about CL. MAJOR CONTENT 1 CLUS (Case Library User Service) is the client's program of the case library, the main functions are as follows: ﹡CLB (Case Library Browser) It's composed of a web browser that integrate the CAD software, being used to scan, edit and manage the case library. And node's users can also update the case library on their own nodes with CLB. ﹡Inspect function Receive periodical report of the CLAS. Inspect their live condition. Make sure that they are keeping in touch with lived major CLAS and transport the case information which user needed to user through CLB. 2. CLAS (Case Library Aggregation Service), the major function as follows: ﹡Response to user's request Receive and handle user's request. Which are send from CLUS. Lookup corresponding information of the case according to the query condition and return the result to user; Update the case library nodes with this node user's request. ﹡Cache mechanism. CLAS contains a CLB (case Buffer library) similar as Cache mechanism used to cache case information, which were queried recently. ﹡Transfer the CLCS (Case Library Case Service). It can transfer CLCS on every case library nodes by grid service handle. ﹡Getting the service in advance.When the user query the information of the case, the CLAS not only gets the grid service handle of CLCS which is according to the current grad, but also gets the grid service handle of CLCS which is according to the next grade. ﹡Aggregate information. Analysis and aggregation the information gained from each case library node, so as to provide user with integrated information. ﹡Backup function. The major CLAS transport case information stored in case buffer library to the assistant CLAS periodically .So, if the major CLAS is in trouble, the assistant can work instead of it. CONCLUSION Realize case library about mould designing based on grid, enables it have the characters as follows: 1. With the case library based on grid, we can reuse the design of the accessories and products in existence efficiently, avoid reproducing new accessories, avoid the machining process of the being developed accessories (the consumption of NC programs, tools and other resources), increase the producing batch of reused accessories, and reduce the cost when improving the quality of the products. 2. The loosely coupled distributed system implemented by grid technique adopts uniform common protocol only inside the grid, so users can enter and exit the case library freely, and they own self-determination of the cases the designed. All these ensure the open and self-determination of the case library. 3. Users can view the entire case library as a system, which has several case library nodes. Users can get grid services from any of the case library node. In other words, to all the nodes and all the users, all the grid services and functions, besides those whose common privileges of being accessed are restricted, are symmetrical. Also, users needn't know the detailed position of the physical device that provides certain service. 4. Developing a system using object-oriented, OS platform free JAVA techniques ensures that the system can be run in a uniform interface in any OS platform and any network environment, and then it suits all the distributed enterprise environments using the platforms of different software and hardware. Furthermore, the adequately implemented VRML technique can provide user with the functions than users can access 3D geometry model remotely and visibly with WEB browser. 5.
