Teaching case is the ladder of teachers' professional development on ICT. Teachers and Researchers pay more attention to teaching-cases' analysis and management. It will have an important meaning to build a case learning system providing with teaching case resources capturing, storing, transfer, sharing, transforming, innovating and application ability.Teaching case resource contains lots of text files, bitmap files and sound&video files. The transmission via Internet brings a lot of data bytes and puts great pressure on the server. It is a problem to ensure the better serving quality under the pressure.Three types of participator are involved in the case learning system: teaching case resources provider, teaching case resources consumer and cooperation school. The provider is among in college teachers, middle school teachers and third-party resource member. College teacher, or middle school teacher, or the other peoples is the potential resources consumer. How to build a completed extensible highly-efficient case learning system integrated with these resources is another problem which is to be solved.This paper brings a solution of distributed case learning system based on grid. The designing of distributed system solves the expansibility, agility and strength of the system. The grid solves the integration of dispersed case resources and loose-coupling. This paper chooses WSRF.NET as the grid service solution with the analysis of the virtue and the shortcoming. The whole grid structure is composed of six layers: grid infrastructure layer, resource integration framework layer, abstract objects layer, groupware layer, business services layer and portal layer. Excepted with portal layer, module layer and abstract objects layer, the others are all composed of grid services. But different layer has different service granularity. The top layers' rough services are composed of the underlayers' granule services. A stable efficient open-structured system can be built with the grid structure to meet the requirements for the future case learning and system integration.This paper is composed of five parts, of which part 3 and part 4 are emphases and difficulties:Chapter 1: research background, present domestic and abroad correlative domain research actuality and main contents of this paper.Chapter 2: brief discussion of structure, virtue and shortcoming of teaching case knowledge management system.Chapter 3: specification and structure of the published grids.Chapter 4: frame designing of the distributed case learning system based on WSRF.NET. Function of each layer and the class forms of resource integration framework layer.Chapter 5: conclusion and prospect of this paper.
