Embarrassment And Reference

Prizes of journalism are the result of facility of journalism. Among the prizes all over the world, the Pulitzer Prizes are the most typical, which is the top award of the press in the United States. It reflected the development of facility of journalism in the past eighty years and facilitated the bourgeoisie press as well.In this thesis, 110 works awarded the Pulitzer Prizes in the last ten years were selected. The tendency of subjects was described with the analysis of samples. Based on the above, the social environment and conflicts, which the Pulitzer Prizes had to face, were analyzed. Including political, economical and cultural elements, the advanced facility of journalism is promoting some new trend of development of the American press. Through the above, the thesis will elaborate the embarrassment of the Pulitzer Prizes and figure out how we could use it for reference.
