| The Pulitzer Journalism Prize was awarded for the first time to environmental news in 1941.Environmental news has always been an important part of the Pulitzer Prize.Since environmental news appears,it has focused on the public transmission of various environmental information involving environmental conditions,environmental issues,environmental protection and ecological civilization construction.The environmental news not only reflects the important environmental events in the development of the times,but also test the mainstream press of the United States.In this paper,the writer takes environmental news of the Pulitzer award-wining works in recent ten years as the research text,a total of 143 winning entries,committed to exploring the ethical thoughts in the news.The final sample including 19-group of environmental news with a total of 127 news reports.Through the macro analysis of the theme and micro analysis of ethics,this paper studies ethical thoughts from the perspectives of human nature introspection,environmental justice,awe of nature,ecological integrity and moral standards.The environmental news of these award-winning works is a realistic portrayal of the global environment.Therefore,through the outstanding environmental news,we can see the ethical relationship between man and nature advocated by the Pulitzer Journalism Prizes,and hope to put the environmental thoughts into practice under the enlightenment of the literature. |
